Bulgarian Danayl (Belya) Kyustendilski looks back upon the events of his life working as a T.I.R. driver across Europe since 1987 up to the present day. Travelling and slipping over borders all over the continent, Danayl spends several months at a time on the road away from his loved ones, witnessing firsthand the effects of historical changes in post-communism Bulgaria when back at home. His journey on the road is packed with a broad variety of mishaps and adventures along the way, and at once the driver resembles a juggler-always seeking balance to navigate his way through all kinds of unforeseen obstacles.
