Born and raised under harsh circumstances in Malamulele in the Northern Province of Limpopo, South Africa, he found solace in boxing, using the sport as an escape. This exciting and engaging biography traces his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a legendary boxer named after the great Mohammed Ali. He gained an extraordinary boxing record from 1994 to 2012, becoming the only South African to ever win six World Titles across three weight categories. His story is one of resilience and determination, overcoming his difficulties, his struggles, his vicissitudes, but above all his great ability to always get back up and recover. During his life he had the honour of knowing and receiving a visit from President and Nobel Prize laureate Nelson Mandela.
