The stories in this anthology are edited by the narrators of CRIF, people who work for it and who don't write short stories as a job in life. The chosen theme is "the Appointment", real or imagined. These stories mix different levels of reality, sometimes poised between the imagination and the detailed account of daily vicissitudes. Stories recognizable by anyone who works in large organizations, sometimes funny, sometimes nostalgic, set in Dublin, Bologna, Atlanta or New York and in other well-known places never fully revealed, with different protagonists embracing a multiplicity of human characters.Twelve stories, seven written in Italian and five in English, which highlight CRIF's international scope; twelve narrative worlds which allow the reader to enter from house to house, from place to place, in order to explore the meaning of that particular "appointment" in each narration: sometimes a lack of love, other times a lost illusion, several times a rediscovered hope.
